Terms of Service
Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Retryx (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using retryx.io or the Retryx service you agree to them. If you use Retryx for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.
1. The service
Retryx receives webhooks you direct to it, stores them, delivers them to the destinations you configure, retries failed deliveries, and lets you inspect and replay them through a dashboard and API (the “Service”). The Service is described in our documentation, which may change as the product evolves.
Delivery semantics. Delivery is at-least-once: an event may be delivered more than once and you must de-duplicate using the provided idempotency identifiers. Ordering is not guaranteed. We cannot guarantee that a third party’s server accepts an event, only that we attempt delivery as documented. Payloads are kept only for the retention period of your plan.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, be at least 18, and keep your credentials, API keys and signing secrets confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the permissions you give teammates. We recommend two-factor authentication. Tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorised use.
3. Your data
You keep all rights in the content you send through the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display it solely to provide and secure the Service. You are responsible for what you send and for having the rights and legal basis to send it. Do not send data you are not permitted to process with a third-party service. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Plans, fees and billing
- Billable unit. One event accepted by your endpoints after de-duplication. Delivery attempts, retries, duplicates, events rejected by your filters, schema validation or quota, and test-console events are not billed. Replays are not billed on standard plans but are subject to a fair-use cap.
- Quotas. Each plan includes a number of events per billing period. On plans with a hard limit, further events are rejected with an error until the period resets or you upgrade. On other plans events continue and overage is billed at the price shown for your plan. Our records of usage are authoritative.
- Payment. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page, exclusive of taxes unless stated. Payments are processed by Stripe. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated.
- Trials. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time; your plan continues until the end of the paid period, after which your organization moves to the Free plan.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we will retry and notify you. If it remains unpaid after the grace period shown in the dashboard, your organization falls back to Free-plan limits.
- Changes. We may change prices or plan limits with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
6. Refunds
Fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us; we review refund requests individually and will correct genuine billing mistakes.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available but do not currently commit to a specific uptime level or response time unless we agree one with you in writing. We may perform maintenance and will try to give notice of planned downtime.
8. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with services we do not control, including your destination servers, event sources (such as Stripe, GitHub, Shopify), and providers we use (hosting, payments, email). We are not responsible for their availability, content or terms.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
We and our licensors own the Service, its software and branding. You may use the Service under these terms but may not copy it, resell it, or reverse engineer it except as law allows. If you give us feedback we may use it without obligation.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service or others, and we will try to tell you why. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. After termination we delete or anonymise your data on the schedule in the Privacy Policy; you are responsible for exporting what you need first.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that every event will be delivered.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or US$100 if you use only the Free plan). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Customer Data or your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
15. General
These terms, the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and any written order form are the entire agreement between us on the Service. If a provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent. Notices to you may be sent to your account email or shown in the dashboard.
